Practice Areas

Lloyd has three passions in life: his family, his dogs, and fishing and hunting.

Lloyd represents victims of auto and truck wrecks, premises injuries, medical malpractice, and is also passionate about helping victims of sexual abuse cases.

Lloyd is particularly proud of a case where he helped a youth detention officer who was injured he was struck from behind by a tractor-trailer switching lanes. The injuries to the officer left him unable to lift ghis left arm after several attempts to repair the injury. The company refused to offer more than $125,000 to settle the case, which was unacceptable given the life long injury that the client would have to endure. Lloyd took the company all the way through a jury trial, fighting back against all of the ways the company tried to wiggle out of responsibility. Lloyd was able to deliver his client a verdict worth over 10x the settlement offer, when the jury returned an award of $1.29 million. For Lloyd it was satisfying to win the case, and be able to get his client compensation for what he will have to endure for the rest of his life.

Lloyd notably devotes part of his practice to representing victims of sexual abuse. He became passionate about the area of law while serving as past President of the Society of Advancement of Sexual Health (SASH), which offered him unique insight into the issues a victim of sexual abuse faces when confronting an abuser. Sexual abuse cases are challenging, and many personal injury attorneys are unwilling to take them on. Lloyd is currently a Board Member of Civil Lawyers Against World Sex Slavery (CLAWS), an organization dedicated to targeting those individuals or organizations that traffic children for the purposes of sexual servitude. He is passionate about helping hold abusers, and those entities that could have prevented the situation accountable and is willing to take on the toughest cases in this niche practice of law than most attorneys will never attempt.

Lloyd earned his undergraduate degree from The State University of New York at Albany and earned a law degree from Emory University School of Law.

Lloyd is licensed to practice law in Georgia.
